PENNINE CYCLEWAY - click on Red Text for links to other pages

In its entirity the Pennine Cycleway runs to over 350 miles from Derby to Berwick-upon-Tweed. The section through West Yorkshire runs from south of Holmfirth to the moors above Hebden Bridge. Like the West Yorkshire Cycle Way it is unashamedly a challenge route, taking in the best of the Pennine Scenery. Being part of Sustrans' National Cycle Network it also uses quiet roads and good quality traffic-free paths where possible. Some steep gradients combine with stunning views.
